Xbox Controller

I just got a new Xbox Wireless Controller Black and I opened it, put the batteries in and when I turn on Xbox and tried to turn on the controller, it just blinks and blinks blinks first custom player and it wont respond. Do you know what is going on or how to fix it?

If you use a rechargeable battery, this may be the problem. Some older packages do not work in new controllers.

If you're just using regular AA you'll need to sync the controller 360. Press the small white button next to the memory card slots on the 360 and even smaller white button on top of the controller may be an inch from the left bumper (LB) button. This should make the controller and the 360 to find each other.

I had the same problem you need to get a pack charger and plug into the Xbox 360 and the controller and turn the regulator and it should work fine.

Is this for the 360? You need to synchronize the controller by pressing a button on the console and a small button on the front of the controller. See the instructions supplied with the controller to exactly what the buttons.

It could be that the 360 does not detect your controller.
1) Turn on your Xbox 360
2) Turn on your control
3) Press the small white button on the front of the 360 (next to the slot Memory Unit)
4) Press the small white button on the controller (on the forehead, between left and right bumper)

They will both look at each other and must be synchronized. The Guide button should change to say the player 1.

Also, make sure your batteries are fully charged.
