Mbweha Camp is located in private property Congreve Conservancy game and hid in a grove of Euphorbia Cactus with over 300 species of birds. The gateway to Lake Nakuru National Park is just 15 minutes. The Conservatory is home to the most plains game such as elk-, warthogs, zebras, leopards, grants, gazelle, waterbuck, impala, hyena, dik dik, buffalo, giraffe, advark, baboon and Flamingo.
The camp is composed of nine cottages are built of local materials, thatch roofs with walls of natural lava stone and a large circular space bedroom with en suite shower and private verandah. All cottages are simply designed and are comfortable and tastefully decorated and all are private and completely separate.
The sunken bar and spacious lounge has a fireplace, a pool table, darts, and look at eye level on a cut lawn on a puddle of small size. The restaurant offers a choice of Bush freshly prepared meals and game meat in a separate dining room thatch. There are particular nature walks, cycling, hiking, day and night game drives, bush dinners, and appetizers.
Porini Camp Kigio
Porini Camp Kigio is approximately 45 minutes drive from the Nakuru National Park, famous for its flamingos. Porini Camp Kigio was established in the exclusive Kigio Conservancy, a short drive from Nairobi to the Great Rift Valley between lakes Nakuru and Naivasha.
Conservation, a nice mix of acacia and shrubs leleshwa-earth is home to White Rhino and the endangered Rothschild Giraffe, among many other animals. The expansive private conservation area offers the opportunity to walk safely amongst wildlife.
Learn to identify animal tracks, and the traditional use by local populations of the medicinal properties of many plant species in the interim. In addition to plains game like zebra, giraffe and antelope, birds abound and a walk along the river gives the opportunity to see hippo and maybe even a python!
Facilities and activities included for all guests: Spacious safari tents, all with private verandah, a double and single bed, solar electric lights, bathrooms with toilets and showers. All meals and picnic, free mineral water, sodas, gin, beer and house wine.
Lake Baringo Club
On the shores of Lake Baringo, 285 km northwest of Nairobi, Lake Baringo Club is nestled among palm trees, green lawns and pink face, purples, reds and oranges of bougainvillea obviously thriving in the hot sweltering days that characterize both the Great Rift Valley lakes.There is never a dull moment at the Club. Morning and evening bird walks, always accompanied by our resident ornithologist, giving visitors the opportunity to see many beautiful birds of prey, noisy, restless birds 'bush' and the numerous species frequenting shore.There are many small motorboats lease, all bird lovers by the master of knowledge.
And there is much to see on the lake - hippo and crocodiles up close, an assortment of jewelry kingfishers, local fishermen sorting the catch of the day, and of course the beauty of a Rift Valley lake. Our daily visit to a local tribe manyatta (village) is always popular with customers.
