Table Place Cards

Posted on May 16, 2010.
Table Place CardsI need ideas for place cards table thaksgiving dinner?

we have a lot of family over Thanksgiving and try to find a creative way to make maps of space for everyone. I am grateful for any ideas or websites:)

Depending on how many people you have, you could get these little mini-pumpkins to the produce section and write the name of each person using a marker and put it in the middle of their development up. If you're crafty, you could make wine charms for each person and tied to a glass of wine for each person or water goblet. You could make / buy the same wine charms, but tie a ribbon on each one and just write the name of each person on this issue and it becomes a party favor.

You can draw little turkeys and leaves a border. Just construction paper folded in half and decorate with sequins, beads, pix, ect.

Like you did in school, make a turkey by tracing their hands on paper and color it like a turkey! Use these cards as a place!

Our family has always had the children cards in the morning of Thanksgiving. We had markers, crayons, glitter, stickers and pipe cleaners, feathers and anything else you can imagine the children who want to decorate with. The adults loved to come in the dining room and see all the homemade cards, children spent time working on. If you are looking for something more formal, try to get something like a tag like you would put on a Christmas gift, and attach an ID glass of wine about it. Each person has a different kind of says who they are, ie a person who loves golf has a charm with a golf tee on it, someone who loves flowers receive one with flowers on it, so and so on.

mini pine cones, and just stick the cards up by it. Free if you live near pine trees, cheap Michaels or any art and craft store if you do not.

I like the idea of simply leaves off and write the names of customers and putting them on the plate (dry leaves of course), but here are some other ideas of our favorite Martha Stewart
