A young prince has been a lot of nightmares recently, still dreaming of a kingdom known (with a beautiful princess, no less) and an evil witch. As the days pass, the dreams become more vivid, and the prince began to dream of an old man pleading for his help. He then took the decision to leave his own country back and search for the kingdom of his dreams.
The prince finally finds the kingdom after several days of exploration. And it seems that his dreams were correct, as the Kingdom looks like he has been cursed by a witch spell. The buildings are dull and gray, covered with cobwebs and years of dust. And people seem to have fallen into a magic sleep. The prince finds a cabin in the kingdom and found the old man in his dreams. After talking to the elderly, the young prince proposes to save the kingdom and defeat the evil witch.
Love Chronicles: The Spell is an adventure game where you work your way from one building to try to revive the cursed people and get their help in your quest. You will meet a blacksmith, a fisherman and many more characters that bring their expertise to your rescue their countrymen and prepare to face the evil witch.
The gameplay of The Love Chronicles: the charm is in the style of hidden object, or rather the fragmented object game (FROG) style, where instead of trying a bunch of random elements in each scene hidden objects, you are required to find fragmented parts of elements that will be used to complete a task or to reveal / activate other items. This makes the transition from hidden object game seems more logical and fits very well with the story.
In each stage or chapter of the game (for example Chapter blacksmith), there exists a set of interconnected scenes of hidden objects. The main objective of this chapter is to get people awake and productive again, what is being done through carrying out certain tasks (such as finishing the blacksmith). To do this, you must find the evidence needed to perform tasks. Unfortunately, these elements are fragmented and you must find the hidden object parts in the different scenes of hidden objects. Some of these parts will also require unlocking or activation, again requiring some work to do, which requires research of several elements.
There are also lots of mini-puzzles scattered throughout the game, it is mostly the type of puzzle you'd expect from a game of hidden objects, including logic puzzles, such as the right mix various files off the right button. These puzzles are not difficult, but there are likely to break the monotony of hidden object gameplay and add a little variety in the game
What sells the game is really a great atmosphere. You can say that much effort has been invested in developing the game's work is simply fantastic. It is dynamic and lively, perfectly bringing the fantasy atmosphere of the game to life. And unlike many other hidden object games, hidden objects in Love Chronicles looks like they really belong where they are hidden. They are so cleverly worked into the bottom they are not looking for him at all. And to support the great work of art, the soundtrack is just as good, it is really in the game as you.
The only drawback I see in the game.
