Rocket Bike

Rocket BikeWhat is a good crotch rocket / sport bike to buy for someone who is just starting to ride a bike?

I am someone who is wanting to buy a crotch rocket but not a high end bike. Just one would be for a beginner.

Kawasaki Ninja 250. Visit the links below to discover why. (They are long, but they could save your life).

Steve is right there. a 250 is a good bike to start, but my friend has one and it has exceeded five months. If you do not want a 250, try a '09 or '08 Suzuki GSX-R600. They have great maneuverability and a mode selector with 3 settings for different levels of riders. Look for it! Flag

Something more, as in the range or try a 500cc dirt bike if they do not know how to use a clutch

i wouldnt go as low as 250 to start on bc you grow up very quickly. I picked up an old Yamaha 400 for $ 500. its great for the city and highway. 250 will be on the road, but you'll have to work hard enough that the engine

I've only been riding for a year and began on a V45 Magna '83. Not a motorcycle, sport, but for a beginner, it may have been too much bike. If I had to do more (and I'm looking into getting a bike sports now), I would start with a Ninja 250 or 500. Or maybe the time just because I already have some constituency, not to think of a GS500F. Definitely recommend you visit the link stevey put in his answer!
