Can I use regularly estimated for the Pool table felt installation? I picked up a free table, and thought I could replace the marker to make it look better. I already disassembled the table and it would be easy. Can I use felt from a fabric store for the table or should it be "pool" feel?
Sorry, but no, estimated from a fabric store will not work. This material is completely different. Honestly, the fabric for a pool table is not really felt. Wool. If you are looking for an inexpensive fabric, try cloth champion. There are companies online that will sell it with free shipping and two boxes of chalk. I think they may even give you directions on the back. Be very careful with the rails when you try to remove fabric rails there is a piece of wood (flag Gaza) which holds the fabric. You want to be very very careful when removing it so you can reuse. The rails will be the hardest. If you have not done this before, you might consider hiring someone to retrieve and install the table for you, but it's just a suggestion.
Ordinary Felt out of shape, so don t do this.
its best to buy a manufacturing billiards and pool tables.
Absolutely not. I know a guy who thought he was going to put a little money by using regular felt. It was a total disaster. He liked the look of red felt, so that is what he uses. Not only was he the slowest table to play, but never came out red all over. The bullets, the hands of players, pool cues, everything. Get ahold of your pool room or billiard retailer and some good stuff pool table installed by a professional, you will not regret it.
I recommend getting a "Simonis" water pool because its also reversible. It will be a brief outline. Ask someone who is qualified to put the fabric.
Nope. They are two totally different matierials.
