How can I fix my Pirates of the Caribbean dead man chest pinball machine? I bought it at Best Buy almost four months. I had a flood in my basement and my parents hired guys to clean. and I think they broke. everything works except the buttons are like pinball blocked in both camps. when I try to press the pinball flippers do not move. how would I go about fixing this quickly.
It is not easy to diagnose such problems on the Internet.
If the keys are really pinball "stuck in both sides, so that's where you need to begin your search. You must understand how to disassemble this part of the machine and find out why the buttons are locked in. Maybe they are just stuck because of something to get in there while the basement was flooded, or perhaps springs on the buttons came loose (or broken).
If you spent $ 140 on this machine (this is your link to the Best Buy implicit) so I do not want to spend more than $ 50 at most to get it running again. You may want to consider saving your money for the purchase of a real pinball instead - a good condition can be used machine had a starting price of about $ 500, and withstand abuse much more a not-quite-real-thing-Best Buy. (No, a real pinball machine will not be flooded as if!)
Flippers need more energy than anything else in a pinball machine, so if you use the wrong adapter - voltage too low or not Ampere enough - you can see some things work, but no fins. I suspect that if this particular machine will reset if you hit two palms together. Report Abuse
Take off the plastic and work. This is the best news I can give you.
