Obama Vs Mccain

Obama Vs MccainA class struggle: Obama Vs. Mccain

Both ends of the social symbolic are outlined in the men running for president. Regarding an overview we have the culmination of the Civil Rights Act of 1960, Mr. Obama considered a black man of humble birth, running against Mr. McCain, the archetype of the candidate Republican White, a senior, a career politician, and a decorated veteran of a military family accomplished. What best defines the separation of people in this country that these two men? In one corner we have a community activist liberal, a social worker policy if you want, and in the other corner, a veteran conservative prisoners of war and career politician, a hawk.

A major issue in my mind is this, Obama can unite a coalition of the subclass of all colors? Can they be merged into one powerful voting bloc? If he can succeed in this then maybe the political landscape of America will be forever changed. or not John McCain is rich, it represents the rich as a Republican in the minds of most. Since income is well over $ 200k per year in a military pension, social security and salary Senate, I would say it is to class the very least upper-middle. Obama may have started in the middle class, but with a few personal blunders of epic proportions, it is never intended to be there yet. And yet, despite his Harvard education and potential wealth, it represents as a black man, the sub-class of America. He worked in the city when he has a "street-CRED. He can also legitimately express the interests of the man in the white middle class as part of the large sub-class of America.

Since the country was formed, powerful white men have ruled. For too long, the whites have identified sub-class with the powerful. They have worked for them and they have served, hoping one day be included in their club. A select few now and then got a place in the club by becoming rich. Most sub-class in America has seen the gap between rich and poor is widening. Even the development of trade unions has turned to government and service jobs, away from the labor market declines in traditional manufacturing. The rich are served by the government and they are the main consumers of the services sector. American society is increasingly structured to serve the richest among us.

Now along comes Obama speaks of change and simply by being black has the same picture of change. Does he have the willpower and charisma to pull in the blue collar worker white? Can he build a coalition of the subclass with a message that they will accept? It will take a change of mindset for the Archie Bunkers of America to accept the fact that they belong to the subclass that includes the poor black man. Can blue collar workers being struck on the "American Dream"? Can Barack prove that despite their color they were never invited to the club and they probably never will be? Barack then help see that the only color that really matters is green for the rich?

I am fascinated and fearful. There could be an opportunity for real change that could erase hidden racism is, if the blue collar white vote based on color. I see a youth movement behind Obama could well propel him into the White House if the coalition subclass is successfully constructed.

I wonder if the young people working in the campaign of Barack understand why his election is in doubt. It must not, without reference to the state of the Republican party paralyzed. Do kids know well the fears and prejudices of their parents who produce such indignation the words of his former pastor?

I wonder if everyone knows what changes they want Barack Obama elected once. Is this just a ride on a raucous parade float? Do they have the will to make sacrifices.
