You know what you want furniture. You even chose the colors and theme. But you are looking for unique ideas for decorating your nursery. Follow these tips to make things more convenient, organized, unique and elegant.

Recessed shelving adds a special flare to any room, but it is particularly useful in a nursery. built-in shelves are not very deep and are perfect for all those tiny baby items. It is fairly easy to add built-in shelves. Use a stud finder to determine where the rays form. Mark the area you want to turn into tablets. Cut the drywall with a steak knife. Fill the holes with plywood and 1x6. Add shelves and painting. This is a fairly simple project that is easy to do with two people.

Install trim really frame the room. Chair rails should be one third of the height of the ceiling. Measure from floor to ceiling and divide by three. Use a level to draw a line around the room. Start somewhere easy, as against a door frame or window. This first piece will be cut at an angle of ninety degrees. adjoining rooms should correspond with forty-five degree cuts. Go in one direction around the room. Use a miter saw to cut corners and joints to forty five degrees. This will give a professional finish. Recess the nails, fill holes and sand the surface. Use paint sealant to seal the molding on the wall. Most walls are not totally flat, so do not be surprised if you have a void to fill. Let dry and you're ready to paint.

A bank of long-term storage is another excellent addition to the nursery. You can choose to use a whole wall for this, or build a bench between two shelves around a window for a nice window seat. Measure and build a basic box to fit the region. Cut the front piece a bit lower than the rest to allow the closure without breaking the little finger. You can choose to do several covers for a long siege. Secure box to studs with screws. Install the covers with torsional hinges for toy boxes. This will allow the crown to stay in the situation where they are placed in easily and close without slamming shut. Use pillows, decorative paints and stencils to customize the space.

Whether you are adding storage or decorating your nursery will look great. Do not overlook the closet when you add storage. Use baby hangers to keep clothes get torn or misshapen. infant hangers not only look good, but to maximize the storage capacity of a closet. Have fun with your nursery and be proud of the style that you created yourself.
