New Ps2 Games

Ok I felt strange as the cause if a person has ps2 and if the new PS2 games keep coming out. How can people go to the opportunity to buy the PS3 when people buy new games for PS2? And what is the point of continuing to make games ps2 ps3 when the games are much better than the PS2 new games?

I guess not everyone cause that would go to a PS2 to a PS3. Some people are fine with the PS2. Also, I think they would not spend so much money to get a new PS3 when the PS2 works perfectly fine.

Normally, people who have either a PS2 PS3 spoiled too much money or have no PS at all! :)

I hope they continue to make PS2 games until PS4 comes out because the PS3 is good as the 60 GB is no longer. However, the 80 GB is not bad, but is not fully compatible and the 40GB is not compatible at all. Maybe Sony will make a new version of the PS3 is backwards compatible, then stop making PS2.

I think most people can not afford a game system freaking $ 400 right now. Also, I heard the 40GB version of PS3 (the cheapest) is not compatible with PS2 games. I think the developers are pretty good consolation for us PS2 owners - What ports to make new releases of PS3 games for the PS2. Well, you have about when you can not sell good enough numbers for Xbox360 and PS3.

More than 100 million PS2 were sold worldwide meaning it has a massive user base, so if the developers can still make money on it they will still release games for it.

you know why because they are many people who own PS2 PS3.

the PS2 was the best of worlds largest selling console of the sixth generation. The PS2 console is not bad it's just that the PS3 has been introduced to some ppl still think the PS2 is pretty good and they cannot afford the PS3 or they do not want to buy. making new games is the best way to keep the PS3 because Sony bussiness didn't do as well as their thinking (probably because the PS2 sold so many consoles).

Because the PS2 still has some life in it, and is still selling well. Sony focuses more casual players now compete more directly with the Wii, which is really not all that next gen, and mounting the PS3 more mature hardcore gamer.

They are pitching their huge catalog of PS2, but huge big name titles (Grand Theft Auto, Metal Gear, Little Big Planet) will be exclusive to the PS3 and new titles for the PS2 will become rare.

As long as its selling, they will do something for her. How well that something ... We will wait and see.
