As parents we all want our children to be intelligent and healthy, this is not a surprise. But with all the distractions of our days like the Xbox and computer games, it can be difficult to keep your kids happy and entertained, while still having to learn something while they do it. But there is something very fun and simple you can do to keep your children happy and educated at the same time.

Crossword puzzles are an excellent place to start. Crosswords are a great success among adults and the majority of people think that children do not like them. This is not the truth, but because most are made crosswords for adults, so the clues and words are unfamiliar to young children. A good, easy way to solve this problem is to make your own crossword puzzles for your kids.

Of course, it is not easy to spend a ton of time actually make your own crossword puzzle, it takes time and skill. But there are websites you can visit them for you instantly. All you do is enter the words and clues to solve these words, and it does the crossword puzzle for you all.

You can put into words what your children know and love, like their heroes, their favorite color, their favorite food, etc., but do not make them all easy, you always want to challenge your children to develop 3-5 words that perhaps they do not know and they will have to do a little work to understand. This will make the spend more time with the puzzles while keeping their brains going.

The great thing about using words to your children and love is there to keep them involved. They will not lose interest because of big words, or because it's not funny, because every time they solve a word and they recognize it as something they like, they want to keep resolution of the rest of the crossword puzzle.
