Kids Bikes

Kids BikesBicycles for children?

Want to buy my nephew a new bike for his birthday. He will turn 4. What should I look? I know he needs trainning wheels, but do not know what size to look.

If it is small or average for his age, he will need a 12 "bike. If on the long side can be a 16. Both are normally with training wheels. The best thing is to head over to Wal Mart, Target, etc. Toy r us and see how they fit. If it is a surprise, you can always buy one and take it back if it is not right. Make sure you do not get something, it goes out of the fall.

I would not take a yo 4 to a bike shop the most - are not even carry kiddie bikes anyway.

Wal-Mart is probably the best PIAAC to get a bike for a kid. They have training wheels on, DOEM years of their bikes come with training wheels already installed. Just get one that is really small.

Bring your nephew to the bike shop, not Wal-Mart, and let the pros help you shop with a bike that suits him now. it is comfortable on the bike, he will mount more!

Get Pacific. At this stage, they are the best balance between quality and cost. I have three boys and over the years, I bought four Pacifics with everyone pronounced. welding quality and decent components of brand names to semi-clearly the best for the money. Frankly, as much as kids bikes go, you'd be hard pressed to find better at any price. Treks cost twice as much and they are in the same factory in China.

One child of four years is about as young as you can get to the real bike. It will take 12 "wheels (maybe 16" it is important, but probably not): the frame size is determined by the wheels. In this size, it should come with training wheels.

Word to the wise: Take a child a bit longer who knows what's cool this week. For children this age, the quality is not relevant. If this is not cool, it will not run for long.

ToysRUs, Walmart and Target are the best bet on the price. Do not pay more than $ 60.

Bicycles shown in catalogs usually show the recommended age and the proper "leg" info.
Example.
Wheel size 30cm (12 inches).
Suitable for leg measurements from 42 to 53.5cm.
For children 3 to 6 years
