Glass Baby Bottles

Glass Baby BottlesWhy do some glass bottles for the use of breast milk?

When I was in the store today and saw the glass bottles and indicated on the package, they were to be used for breastfeeding. Are they better than the plastic or is it just that some prefer to use glass bottles? Thank you!

Glass is easier to clean / reuse and sanatize

plastic bottles are made from something like BHP or whatever, I'm not even sure if thats it and glass bottles should not be in them all. more so to feel better with them just because its safer. Although all the bottles contain hp or what you need to look closely to make sure they DONT and with his glass a sure guarantee.
Glass is easier to clean and steralize. they wont melt in the dishwasher. if they break more easily. I never used to drink Im not the Wizz to them, but I know them:)

Glass is better for all, seriously. It's just that many people can not afford them. However, they are better to use, nothing gets absorbed in them, they are easy to disinfect, etc. In addition, there has never BPA. (Or any other chemical frightening which has not yet been solved.)

The glass is cleaner and easier to clean. In a growing baby the last thing you want is some unknown chemical leaching in the formula / breastmilk. BPA is found in many plastics, not just bottles. The answering others (Barb) was very good, and just about everything he says there needs to be said. ^ - ^

Glass bottles are not really recommended for breast milk because breast milk lukeyocytes conform to the glass. Its authorized to store in glass bottles if you are freezing because lukeyocytes die anyway when they are frozen.

I used glass bottles ... I prefer them because the glass is nonporous, unlike plastic.

We have always used glass for young babies, so I do not know why the statement. Many moms use plastic for breastfeeding and formula feeding are mothers who use glass. Plastic was for later, when the baby tried to take the bottle (concerns of breakage).
