How to get the original Windows Solitaire game on the Vista computer, instead of the view from? I play solitaire Vista on my Vista computer. But I do not like compared to the classic solitaire game original windows. I looked everywhere on the internet to try to download it, but I can not find anywhere! Can anyone help me?!?! Thank you!
You can not get another if you have Vista.
Microsoft has a copyright on the program of Solitaire, you will have trouble finding it online.
Assuming you have Vista 32-bit, you can get a copy of Solitaire machine from a friend XP.
1. Copy both files to your friend's machine. You can use a USB flash drive.
These commands copy the files. I use e: for the Flash player - your flash drive may be on another letter.
Start -> Run - cmd> -> [ENTER]
(You'll get a prompt that ends with a>)
copy c: \ windows \ system32 sol.exe \ e: \
copy c: \ windows \ system32 CARDS.DLL \ e: \
Close cmd.exe window (click the little cross)
2. On your Vista machine, copy those two files on your desktop. Here are the steps, if E: is the flash drive.
Start - cmd> (in the "Start Search" box) -> [ENTER]
copy e: sol.exe \ "C: \ Users \ All Users \ Desktop" (you need to enter the quotemarks)
copy e: CARDS.DLL \ "C: \ Users \ All Users \ Desktop"
Close the window cmd.exe
3. sol.exe Double-click your desktop to launch Solitaire
I tested with an XP machine for file and a Vista machine to run sol.exe, and it works very well.
