During the month of May, the town of Bournemouth is on fire with festivities that people celebrate the festival of fire. The fire festival, held annually on May 12 at Meyrick Park, is a celebration of art and music, featuring light on the subject of exhibitions and performances featuring a diverse range of music. The musicals are a truly diverse mix of shows covering the genres of rock and roll, gypsy, Hoedown, blues, ska, swing, jive, hillbilly and psychobilly to name a few. Bands stage at the festival include the Glitzy Bag Hags, Kid Carpet, Vincent Vincent and the Villains and cut a shine. DJ and other musical performances are also expected to add excitement to the festival.

Although the event is around the average of the fire, there are also other attractions it offers. Among them is the global village of food and market stalls. The World Food Village is the place where people can go from one stall to sample cuisines from around the world. The stalls are located in a dining room theme with the bands in the acoustic scene, skiffle and street music.

Market stalls selling all kinds of souvenirs such as jewelry design unique and fun toy circus. People can also visit the Eco-Arcadia, a pinball arcade biodiesel-powered.

For those wishing to explore new things, the festival also offers a number of workshops for those who want to learn the art performance, circus arts - with POI and staff, hula hoop skills, workshops on developing a positive attitude and self-care, dance, poetry, cooking and even workshops unusual such as African Drumming and Didgeridoo.

Being a fire on the theme of celebrating the festival also offers a demonstration of fire safety with the firefighters of the city that will educate participants on fire safety issues.

The festival promotes climate change and its proceeds go to charities that promote the same. The event aims to be the first completely carbon neutral event in Dorset in harmony with his advocacy of environmental development and offers viewers information on how to reduce carbon emissions.
