You're on your own to get advice on finding pinball in Berkshire. I am thousands of miles away. :)
There is no "best pinball machine," as there is no "best" car or "better" food or "best" anything - it's a matter of personal preference. In terms on the latest best-selling pinball was Addams Family, but that was 16 years ago.
Pinball emulators: Basically, this means one of several versions of PinMAME. Check out their install guide, it requires very little computer knowledge and takes you step by step. Good luck!
