Board games have been played more than a century in different cultures and societies. Different objects have been found proving the existence of these games in antiquity.
Mehen is an ancient board game from predynastic Egypt.
Go is a strategic board game from ancient China.
Patolli is a game originating in Mesoamerica, and was played by the ancient Maya.
Board games engage the chance, strategy and knowledge. Board games that are based on luck are usually controlled by a die. The winners are usually determined by the ability of players to throw the relevant number on the dice. Games that depend on the strategy game are the spirit, skills and logic. This game is less about luck and not on skills and logic. Chance does not play to their logic and skill. There are also games that require knowedge drive on certain subjects or knowledge as quizmasters and Scrabbles.
