Foul Bay, Such a perfect beach for boogie boarding Barbados has an abundance of fantastic beaches and much as I love lounging on a sun longer, or on a beach blanket I get a little bored after about an hour. Perhaps I have almost 40 years, but I have no intention of slowing down or allow me to slowly wither away.
Since I moved to Barbados at the end of June, I found a water sport fun that I leave a wee buzz boogie boarding call. A surfboard is basically a 3-meter springboard in length, which is made of polyethylene, which you wash and high surf on the waves in the coast.
I first tried boogie boarding last year when I was at Southern Palms, down to St Lawrence Gap in Barbados. But the waves of the Caribbean Sea have been a bit too soft for a really good buzz from boogie boarding, they were very good for small children.
I spent the first part of the working day lasts about 7 to 15 hours. It serves no purpose to escape the rat race of Scotland, if you do not spend some quality time enjoying what Barbados has to offer. So my wife, our Staffie, and a couple of youth referred to Foul Bay, which is a beautiful little beach on the southeast coast of the island.
Foul Bay is fairly easy to find if there is even a sign that tells you where you turn to reach it. There is also a good parking Foul Bay, picnic tables, a toilet and a shower. What I like most Foul Bay is that you only have to walk for about 1 minute or less, your car and you're on a beautiful beach, I very rarely seen with more than a handful of people at a particular time.
I had been in water for about 5 minutes and had a lot of fun to surf the waves of the body, there were some really big waves rough. The waves produced by the Atlantic Ocean at Foul Bay were too rough for children to use their boogie boards, so I ended up with a redundant card.
Now, thanks to the mighty Atlantic Ocean, I am now addicted boogie boarding, I was totally surprised by the speed at which I was catapulted onto the water, even though half the time I would end up thrown in the air like a rag doll. I had a real adrenaline rush of riding the waves at high speed, what a difference it was compared to previous years efforts at Southern Palms.
Even my pet Staffie tried to do some boogie boarding, as I was by a wave in the ground, she seized the front of the board tries to drag it ashore. Unfortunately, it took a large share of the board and cut my thumb, the board now looks as if a shark has bitten it. I think it is probably the first boogie boarder Staffordshire Bull Terrier that Barbados has ever seen.
Boogie boarding is really fun and is a great break from sunbathing on the sand or swimming in the sea Maybe one of these days I'll be ready to try some ticks advanced technical or boogie boarding.
Living in Barbados, I feel alive and not more than when I'm around a beautiful deserted, pristine beaches, boogie boarding and enjoying the sun. Foul Bay, Barbados is truly a beautiful beach, but I would not recommend going too far into the water if you're a strong swimmer, because waves and currents are a little high and rough.
